FLUTE INSTITUTE
Open To All Levels
San Jose State University's Summer Flute Institute offers young flutists (ages 10 - 18) an intensive, college-prep, musically educational experience under the guidance of distinguished world-class faculty. Levels range from "Just Starting" to Advanced.
FLUTE IMMERSION
Auditioned - Advanced/Young Professional
The Summer Flute Immersion is specifically designed for young, highly advanced students, providing them with the exclusive chance to fully immerse themselves in intensive study alongside Prof. Ráyo Furuta and Associate Principal Flutist of the Cleveland Orchestra: Jessica Sindell.
ACCELERATED PROGRESS
Our faculty are top-tier pedagogues, having the experience required to guarantee accelerated, college-prep learning for students of all ages and levels. Students will experience rapid progress unlike ever before!
INSPIRED EXPERIENCES
Students will be provided a wide variety of musical experiences - both educational and performance-based, to inspire them to reach higher levels and connect more deeply to the music they learn and perform.

All students are required to submit a video demonstrating their current level. These videos are not considered auditions, except for those interested in the Immersion Program with Prof. Furuta and Jessica Sindell. All students will be accepted, as the Institute accommodates all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
